The manor house is surrounded by 4 ha of land bordering directly the river Orb in the heart of the Natural Park of Haut Languedoc. This Mediterranean garden is naturally divided into three vegetation systems.
Closest to the house and the swimming pool, playground and old mill areas are a few beds of flower and fragrant terraces and paths with Mediterranean and exotic plants :
mimosa, wisteria, rose laurel, roses, jasmine, lilac, lilies, honeysuckle, lavender, as well as different fine herbs like rosemary, thyme and mint. Further away, overarched by the majestic hall mark of the property, a several hundred years old pine tree, the orchards are grown in terraces with olive, almonds, truffle oak, cherry, peach, apricot, orange and fig trees, along with grapes and capers. The original garrigue is maintained in the outermost parts of the garden, with shady evergreen oaks and ficus (prickly pear), juniper, cactus and shrubs, naturally limited by the river Orb or small spring beds in the rocky ground.
A particularly rich fauna populates the garden, from singing birds of all sizes, forms and colours, humming honey bees, whistling cicadas and splashing fish and frogs to silent bats and owls at night
